About Molly Galbraith
Hi, I’m Molly Galbraith, Co-founder and Woman-in-Charge at Girls Gone Strong (GGS).

I’ve spent the last 17 years as a coach dedicated to helping women feel strong, confident, and empowered in their lives and bodies.

In 2011, I collaborated with six other women to create GGS. We were passionate about helping women get stronger — physically, mentally, and emotionally — and we wanted to share that passion with other women.

GGS quickly grew into a worldwide movement of women celebrating their strength and lifting each other up along the way.

Today, we’re the world’s premier education company providing women — and the health and fitness professionals who work with them — with evidence-based, women-specific health, fitness, nutrition, and pregnancy information.

In my book, Strong Women Lift Each Other Up, I use my experience as a coach and GGS Co-founder to walk you step-by-step through exactly what it takes to lift women up — starting with yourself.

Work We Do at GGS
How We Can Change
the World Together
How We Can Change the World Together
In my book, Strong Women Lift Each Other Up, I share details on how I use my values and my unique superpowers to lift women up, and I’ll teach you how you can do the same.

By the end of the book, you’ll know exactly what lifting women up means for YOU.

This is important because the world needs more women creating change.

We need all different kinds of efforts and involvement to make an impact, and no act is too small.

With that said, I truly believe that coaches have the power to create a better world for women —  when they’re equipped with the right knowledge and skills.

I envision a world where women feel strong, confident, and empowered in their lives and their bodies — and I know that coaches have the power to bring that vision to life.

At GGS, we define a coach as:

Anyone who uses their knowledge and skills to help someone else get from where they are now to where they want to be.

That’s why our students and grads include health and fitness professionals, strength and nutrition coaches, physios, fitness enthusiasts, doctors, registered dietitians, nurses, doulas…

… even parents and people looking to switch careers.

Other Projects and Interests
Education. I believe education has the power to transform lives and communities. That’s why Girls Gone Strong has donated over $300,000 in education and coaching to women in need.
Coaching and Change Psychology. I love thoughtful, well-designed education and coaching. I’ve seen the power of understanding the psychology behind helping women reach their goals. That’s why we dive deep into women-specific change psychology in our coaching certifications.
Therapy. I take care of my mental health the same way I take care of my physical health. I’ve been going to therapy regularly for 13 years and am passionate about destigmatizing the topic.
Better Together. Supporting other women and being supported by them has changed every aspect of my life — and I love sharing this concept with others. For me, it’s been the magic behind creating meaningful friends, doing work I love, and living with meaning and purpose.
Lifting. I fell in love with lifting weights in 2004 and dabbled in figure competitions and powerlifting for five years. To date, my best deadlift is 341 lbs (155 kg), my best squat is 275 lbs (125 kg), my best bench press is 165 lbs (75 kg), and my best Turkish Getup is 80 lbs (36 kg).
Books. I love listening to audiobooks, mostly on personal development, psychology, business, and social justice. I enjoy learning and try to approach life with a growth mindset.
Travel. I enjoy doing cool things with people I love. I’ve driven the Pacific Coast Highway with my partner, biked through vineyards in Tuscany with my cousins, and lived in Uruguay, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica with some of my closest friends.
Hiking. I love hiking. Some of my favorite recent excursions include Bear Mountain in Sedona, Arizona, Snow Canyon in Sr. George, Utah, and Pike’s Peak in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Supporting Women’s Work. I love supporting women doing incredible work. That means buying from them, sharing their products and services, recommending them to my friends or family members, sending them a note of encouragement, and more. I do this often on my Instagram stories.
