Strong Women Lift Each Other Up is an evidence-based, actionable guide to creating a better life for yourself and a better world with more opportunity for women and girls.

I wrote this book because supporting women and being supported by women has changed every aspect of my life. And I know the concepts in this book can change your life, too.

As women, many of us have false beliefs about who we are and what we must do to succeed, and these beliefs pit us against other women — when we could be supporting and working together to create more opportunities for all of us.

These false beliefs hold us back from strength, success, empowerment, connection, and making the kind of difference we’re here to make.

Like so many women, I struggled for years with not feeling good enough. I compared my life and my body to other women’s, and I felt like I never measured up.

And instead of believing in and supporting my friends, I felt like I was competing with them and other women for opportunities that felt scarce.

By 2013, I was ready for change. I decided to stop comparing myself, hating my body, competing against other women, and playing small. Instead, I dedicated myself to building a platform, a business, and most of all, a LIFE dedicated to lifting other women up.

Today, the ‘Strong Women Lift Each Other Up’ philosophy is woven through the fabric of my life and my organization, Girls Gone Strong, and I love teaching other women how to do the same.
